We’re Doing It Again in 2010!

Friday, March 19th, 2010
The politicians still don’t get it. The situation in Washington has gotten worse over the last year, and we’re going to stand up and say, “Enough is enough!”
On the anniversary of the first Trussville Tea Party, we will assemble on the Mall in downtown Trussville, Alabama, to raise our voices together.  We will celebrate our unity and shared values, and we will send a message to our representatives that real change is coming.  It’s the 2010 Trussville Tax Day Tea Party! Our demands are simple:

  • Return the role of the Federal government to the original design laid out in the U.S. Constitution

  • End the destruction of our personal Liberty through increased Federal regulation and taxation

  • Stop the insanity of unsustainable spending and entitlements that are destroying our economy and driving unemployment ever-higher

The 2010 Trussville Tea Party will be on April 15th, from 10am to 4pm on the mall in downtown Trussville. We will have a long list of speakers to help us better understand what is at stake and what it will require to get our community, our state, and our country back on the right track. There will also be entertainment, activities for the kids, and opportunities to plug-in to the community of patriots that have been fighting for this country over the last year.

WE NEED YOUR HELP.

An event like this is a heavy burden. We are all volunteers, and we can’t do it alone. Last year many individuals and local businesses stepped up to provide food, services, and money to make the event the success that it was.

This year we expect a larger crowd. That means we’re going to need more volunteers and more resources in order to repeat that success.

If you would like to help out, email info@trussvilleteaparty.com, and let us know.

We are asking everyone who can to make a contribution of $20 to help us cover the cost of the insurance, sound equipment rental, staging, port-a-potties, and other essential  items related to this event.

All contributions received will be applied to the event. Contributions are not tax deductible.
